Order of Merit
Season Long Competition
BBC GS operate a season long Order of Merit competition. This competition runs in parallel to the individual events, excludes the tours, and runs from January to December.
The Order of Merit will be decided through a points based system where points are awarded for finishing positions at each event.
1st=10 / 2nd=8 / 3rd=6 / 4th=5 / 5th=4 / 6th=3 / 7th=2 / 8th=1
Only a players best 5 performances over the season will count. This means those who can’t attend all events will not be penalised.
There is wonderful trophy to compete for, plus the pride of being the BBC Order of Merit champion - a prize no money can buy!

Tom Budd
Tom "Buddy" Budd took the inaugural OOM trophy and accolades after a close fought battle going into the penultimate event. Tom was single at the time so was probably golf 4 times a week ... good luck this year, Tom, not sure you'll have as much time to play golf whilst planning the wedding!
